OMRI (Organic Materials Review Institute) Certification
The Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) is a third-party reviewer that determines whether a product is allowed for use under US National Organic Program (NOP) standards.
Products bearing the OMRI Listed® seal have been reviewed and determined to be allowed for organic. Products bearing the OMRI seal are front and center in the growing organic agriculture market. Biopesticide products are often suitable for OMRI listing.
In order to list a product with OMRI, you must submit the following items for review: ingredients, SDS (if required), technology declarations (GMOs, radiation, nanotechnology, etc.), information about manufacturing processes, product labels, manufacturing-materials receipt logs, and lab analyses. There are also fees associated with the application.
We help our clients apply for new product listings, amend old product listings and strategize the most efficient path to getting a product OMRI listed. We also provide clients with analyses of their products to see how suitable they are for OMRI listing. Delta can guide registrants through all aspects of the OMRI process.
