State Pesticide Registrations

Delta staff have prepared and submitted initial State pesticide registrations and annual registration renewals for hundreds of products. We have worked with small companies registering one product in a few states and larger companies registering numerous products in 50 states and the District of Columbia. We understand the nuances of each state’s regulatory requirements. Our consulting services include:

  • Completing and submitting initial applications and annual renewals
  • Filing resident agent forms where necessary
  • Attending state meetings and staying in close contact with state officials
  • Notifying clients when states require updated labels as a result of EPA-mandated changes
  • Notifying states when product labels or supporting information change

Delta provides a fast and cost-effective service, taking advantage of our own electronic versions of state application forms. Our clients need only write one check for registration and renewal fees – Delta will issue the 50 individual state checks on your behalf.

State Pesticide Registrations

Unlike in other states, California’s Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) conducts its own extensive review of pesticide registration application packages, much like US EPA. California reviews all the data provided to the Federal government and in some cases requires additional data not mandated by US EPA.

Delta’s consultants have been preparing California pesticide application and amendment submissions for many years. Our services include:

  • Providing information on DPR data requirements during initial registration so that both Federal and California requirements can be covered together
  • Preparing and submitting DPR registration and amendment packages with all required data formatted as required by the State of California
  • Providing expertise in mill tax compliance. Conducting audit of product sales and registrations to ensure proper reporting of mill tax. Advising on options for addressing mill tax compliance requirements
  • Assisting companies with DPR active ingredient reevaluation
  • Assisting companies with volatile organic compound (VOC) testing requirements, and seeking waivers when appropriate
  • Providing information and assistance on other California issues and questions as needed, including Proposition 65 and California Air Resources Board surveys

Let Delta support your state pesticide registration efforts; we can simplify the process for you.
